ARMOGEDA, Robert J.

Published in Today's News Herald on July 22, 2018 - Lake Havasu City, Arizona - Robert J. Armogeda, formerly of Ventura, California, who moved to Lake Havasu City in 1997, passed away on July 13, 2018 in his home. Robert attended grade school in Ventura, junior high school and high school in Long Beach, California. He attended Ventura College and California State University in Fullerton receiving a bachelor's degree. He went on to San Francisco University and received a master's degree in Education. Bob, as most of his friends know him, was a member of several organizations: National Active & Retired Federal Employees; Knights of Columbus. Bob served in the U.S. Army and the U.S. Air Force, attending many military schools for his two Air Force specialties, public affairs and broadcasting. He served as a news director at several Armed Forces Radio and Television stations. He also managed several Armed Forces Radio and Television outlets. Bob served as news director at several radio-TV stations throughout the United States. Bob leaves his sister, Bonnie Delk, sister-in-law Nancy Armogeda, and many nieces and nephews.
