| Tucson Daily Citizen, Tucson, Arizona Friday, August 11, 1944, page 12, column 3 Prescott, Aug. 11. - David Henry Wells, aged 62, died last night at the Pioneers' home, which he had entered February 10, 1942. He was born Jan. 23, 1882, at White Oaks, Pesos county, Tex. He arrived in Arizona in 1888 in the Verde valley. He had lived in Prescott for a number of years before entering the home. He is survived by three sisters, Mrs. Anna Donald, Mrs. Elizabeth Scholey, and Mrs. Rose Bates, all of Prescott.
