| The Arizona Repiblic, Phoenix, Arizona Saturday, September 5, 2009, page B7, column 4 PIERCE, ANNABELLE - 92, native of Buckeye, Az, passed away peacefully on September 1, 2009 at her home. Annabelle was born on January 27, 1917 to Edwin and Ada Wetzler at the Wetzler family home in Buckeye. She grew up in Buckeye and on September 7, 1935 she married Paul Pierce her high school sweetheart. They had six children. Her priorities were her family and the church. Annabelle was preceded in death by her husband Paul, daughter Patsy and two sons, Paul and Jimmy. She is survived by a daughter, Phyllis Pace and companion Charlie House, two sons, Boyd Pierce and companion Frieda Turner and Walter Pierce. She is also survived by 18 grandchildren, 32 great- grandchildren and 6 great-great-grandchildren. Visitation will be from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Monday September 7 at the Buckeye Ganley Funeral Home. Services will be Tuesday, September 8, 2009 at 10:30 a.m. at the First Southern Baptist Church, 405 N. 3rd Street in Buckeye. Graveside will follow at Hazelton-Butler Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, send donations to Hospice of Arizona. Buckeye Ganley Funeral Home is in charge of flowers. |
