Prescott, Oct. 30 - Funeral services will be held Saturday for Mrs.
Lizzie Belle Weston, 80, well-known pioneer, who had resided in this
area for 76 years. She had been in Ill health for some time.
Born in Little Rock, Ark., she came to Arizona with her parents, Mr.
and Mrs. Sam Cox, by covered wagon when she was 4 years old.
The family first located on a ranch in the Thumb Butte district when
Prescott was only a village. Later they moved to Skull Valley. Mrs.
Weston was married to Marion Weston in Prescott more than 60 years
ago. Her husband died in 1927.
She is survived by two sons, Ed and Charles, and a daughter, Olive
May, all of whom live at the Weston ranch near Prescott.

Lizzie Bell Weston
Prescott, Oct. 30 - Funeral services for Mrs. Lizzie Bell Weston, 80,
who came to Arizona from Arkansas by covered wagon when four years
old, will be held here Saturday.
The family first settled on a ranch in the Thumb Butte district and
later moved to Skull Valley.
Mrs. Weston is survived by two sons, Ed and Charles, and a daughter,
Olive May, all of whom live near by.
