The Arizona Republic, Phoenix, Arizona Friday, April 7, 1961, page 12, column 1 & 2 Ed Weston Prescott - Funeral services for Ed Weston, 73, a native of Prescott, will be at 2 p.m. Monday in Ruffner's Funeral Home. Friends may call at the funeral home from noon to 9 p.m. Sunday. Burial will be in Mt. View Cemetery. Mr. Weston was a member of a pioneer Arizona family. In 1924, he established the Weston ranch north of Prescott, sold in 1955 for development. In 1947, during a severe drought, the Weston wells supplied water for the City of Prescott. He is survived by his wife, Ruth O.; a brother Charles W., Kingman; and a sister, May Weston, Prescott.
