| Arizona Weekly Journal Miner, Prescott, Arizona Territory Wednesday, April 7, 1897, page 3, column 6 City and County - (From Monday's Daily) Ed Williams died at the county hospital yesterday, aged 45 years. He died of cancer of the stomach and gave permission to the doctors to hold a postmortem on his remains in the interest of science. The physicians of Prescott and Whipple held an autopsy this afternoon. Transcriber's note: Mr. Williams is buried at the Citizens Cemetery in Prescott, Arizona.
