| Arizona Journal Miner, Prescott, Arizona Territory Wednesday, October 20, 1907, page 1, column 2 Unknown Mexican Dead Undertaker Shannon of the firm of Maus & Shannon, arrived home last night from Walker, with the body of a Mexican, who was found dead in a cabin in that place at an early hour yesterday morning. The name of the deceased has not been learned by the officers. An inquest was held over the remains by Justice of the Peace Edwards, of Poland, and a verdict rendered that deceased came to his death from natural causes. The remains will be interred in the Citizen's cemetery, today. As far as can be ascertained by the officers, deceased had no relatives here. Transcriber's note: This man whose name is unknown is buried in an unmarked grave at the Citizens Cemetery in Prescott, Arizona and is listed on the cemetery plot map as 'Unknown Mexican.' |
