SKIDMORE, Carl Logan


Published in Today's News Herald on July 27, 2018 - Lake Havasu City, Arizona - Carl Logan Skidmore passed away in Lake Havasu City, Arizona on July 24, 2017. He was born to James and Iva Skidmore in Knob Noster, Missouri on May 4, 1938. Carl married the love of his life, Ruby May Wilckens in July of 1960. They shared 58 years of love and adventure. Carl worked for Boeing Aircraft Manufacturing Company for 36 years in Missouri, North Dakota, South Dakota, Montana and Wyoming in the 1960's. He went on to work in Seattle, Washington and then at Edwards Air Force Base, California; where he retired from in 1996. When Ruby retired in 2002 they moved to Havasu. In his younger years Carl enjoyed fishing and hunting and more recently loved playing cribbage. He was a member of the Elks Lodge, Fraternal Order of Eagles and the Moose Lodge. Carl is preceded in death by his parents; James and Iva Skidmore, brothers; Richard and James Skidmore and sisters; Oleta Cone and Euletta Dill. He is survived by his wife; Ruby Skidmore, sons; Jerry Skidmore and Randy (Kelly) Skidmore as well as two grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Carl's honor to Lamb of God Lutheran Church of Lake Havasu City. Services were entrusted to the care of Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home.
