HANES, Terry Lynn

Daily Courier (Prescott, Arizona) Saturday, July 28, 2018 Terry Lynn Hanes, 62, passed away from cancer at home with her sister and brother-in-law attending her. Born May 19, 1956, she left to be with God this July 10, 2018. Terry is survived by her sisters, Joyce Blasdell and Doris Montoya; her large step-family: Ella and Mike McCracken, Greg Yount, Ted Yount Jr., and Jon Yount and many nieces and nephews. Her mother, Flossie Yount; biological father, Ward Hanes; and step-father, Ted Yount, are all deceased. Terry lived in Prescott, Arizona, at the Hozoni foundation for a big part of her life. She was loved and cherished by those who cared for her. Terry was a huge fan of old classics like Loretta Lynn, Patsy Cline and Mike McCracken. She could remember only half the lyrics, but the rest were ones of the heart. Every year her step-sister, Ella, and her niece, Lillie McCracken, would take Terry on road trips, whether to Disneyland, the Silverton, Colorado train, or Sea World, she always had a Banana Split nearby. No one had as many stuffed animals as Terry or hung as many pictures of her family on her walls. She was very loved and will be missed.
