Wickenburg Sun (Wickenburg, Arizona) Wednesday, July 4, 2018, p. A-5 Hans Olesen passed away June 19, 2018. Hans was the beloved husband of Amy Olesen and father to Alexandria, Jocelyn and Michaela. He was the son of Erik Olesen and Carol Foy; brother to Jenny Roehner; uncle to Nika, Rutger, Cecce, Baylee, Kaiden, Analeigh and Kaiden; and "God Uncle" to Lewis and Leslat. He moved to Arizona in 1992 from Connecticut. He was on the swim team and cross country team at Wickenburg High School. He then attended Phoenix College where he received a culinary certificate. For most of his life he spent his time as a stay home dad taking care of his wonderful girls. He was known throughout Wickenburg as a helpful friend as well as being loyal. His heart was as big as his stature. He will truly be missed. A memorial service will be held June 28 at David's Desert Chapel. Arrangements are handled through David's Desert Chapel.
