SHISLER, George Hampton

George Hampton Shisler Sr., 85, of Phoenix died Friday, Nov. 30, 2007 in Scottsdale. He was born Oct. 18, 1922 in Philadelphia, Pa. Mr. Shisler served in the U.S. Marine Corps. and worked as a machinist in the aerospace industry. He is survived by his daughter, Jennifer-Shisler-Rensch (Gary) of Fountain Hills; two sons, George Shisler Jr. of Tempe, and William (Cheryl) Shisler of Phoenix; and one sister, Edith Willets of Sewell, N.J. A memorial service will be held Saturday, Dec. 8, at 2 p.m. at Northern Hills Community Church, 2740, E. Union Hills Dr., Phoenix. A graveside service will held at 11 a.m. Friday, Dec. 7, at Paradise Memorial Gardens, 9300 E. Shea Blvd., Scottsdale. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of the Valley, 1510 E. Flower St., Phoenix, AZ, or Northern Hills Community Church, 2740 E. Union Hills Dr., Phoenix. Fountain Hills Times December 5, 2007.
