No services are planned at this time. Funeral arrangements entrusted to Ruffner-Wakelin Funeral Homes. -------------------------- The Prescott Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona Tuesday, June 5, 2018, page 7a Julia L. Colasurdo, July 13, 1928 - May 28, 2018. We’ve lived in “my Mom’s world” for the past four years. We greatly appreciated the friends and caregivers who educated us on her illness, as well as cared for her daily, so that we were able to help her to enjoy life as much as possible while struggling with her dementia. My Mom raised two children and worked full-time since I was 10 and my brother was 8; she worked in a small business owned by her and my father, later as a department manager in a retail store and finally as a purchasing manager in a county hospital until retirement. My Mom was always very proud of her family, especially her grandchildren; she couldn’t stop bragging about them. She loved to dance and sing, made wonderful lasagna, even made our clothes when we were very young and was always there when we needed her. We will miss her very much. Thanks to all of you who were kind to her during her last years. Information provided by survivors. |
