| The Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona Thursday, May 31, 2018, page 5a Jack W. Smith of Prescott Valley, Arizona, passed away May 21, 2018. Born April 7, 1933, in Seattle, Washington, Jack has been a resident of Prescott Valley since 1989. Jack is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Ardythe (Arndt) Smith; three adoring daughters, Janice (Sean) O’Reilly, Lisa Anderson, and Joanne (Mark) Peters; and four grandchildren. Jack earned a B.S. in electrical engineering from Seattle University and pursued his career in engineering that began with RCA in Anchorage, Alaska, spent several years at Ft. Huachuca’s U.S. Army Communications Command in Sierra Vista, Arizona, and finished at the Hanford Nuclear Institute in West Richland, Washington. Information provided by survivors. |
