| Arizona Republic, Phoenix, Arizona Wednesday, October 21, 1959, page 18, column 5 D. J. Minthorne Prescott - Funeral services for D. J. Minthorne, 67, who died at the Veterans Administration Hospital Sunday, will br at 2:30 p.m. tomorrow in the Whipple Chapel. Friends may call from 6 to 10 p.m. today at the Widmer Mortuary Mr. Minthorne, born in Lamoni, Iowa, had been a resident of Prescott eight years. A veteran of World War I, he was a retired carpenter. He is survived by his wife, Leona; five sons, Ramon, Bagdad; George, Prescott; and John, Melvin and Ivan, all of Warrensburg, Mo.; two daughters, Mrs. Alice Tenniston, Independence, Mo.; and Miss Myrna Minthorne, Kalispell, Mont.; and three grandchildren.
