Helen Marie Gall, 91, passed away July 30, 2018. She was born in
Glendale, California on Dec. 20, 1926, the daughter of John and Helen
Young. The youngest of three children, siblings Kathryn and John
welcomed Helen in Heaven. A charming romance with her high school
sweetheart resulted in a marriage after WW2 veteran Stephen Dale Gall
Sr.'s Navy service.
Together, the couple had four wonderful children: Diane, Susan, Steve
Jr., and John.
The family matriarch, Helen was a special mother, grandmother and
great-grandmother who always remembered everyone's birthday and
maintained close relationships with all family members, especially her
niece Lynda.
Helen had many different jobs, but serving as a school bus driver for
special needs children was her most cherished role. Helen enjoyed
lifelong friendships with her fellow classmates from elementary
school. Every year, they celebrated their December birthdays together.
She will be best remembered for her sparkling blue eyes that radiated
warmth, her great passion for life and her spirit of caring for her
family. Helen remained active even in her later years, refusing to
give up on life until her last day.
She is survived by her remaining three children, Susan, Stephen and
John, grandchildren Shannon, Michael, Christopher, Johnathon and
Briella, and great-granddaughters Bella and Abby.
The family extends gratitude to Hospice of Havasu for the wonderful
care they gave to Helen. Helen's remains will rest next to her husband
Stephen, near her eldest child Diane and beloved mother Helen Nutter.
