| Published in Today's News Herald on Aug. 14, 2018 - Lake Havasu City, Arizona - Jerry Ray Martin of Lake Havasu City passed away peacefully on Aug. 9, 2018 surrounded by family. Jerry was born July 23, 1940 to Lewis and Laverne (Lester) Martin in Ogden, Utah. He graduated from high school and went on to become a successful master electrician. With his expertise, he opened his own business, Jerco Electric. Jerry joined the United States Marine Corps in 1962 and earned the rank of sergeant by the time he completed his service in 1966. He married the love of his life, Carolee Rose, on Sept. 29, 1967 in Mammoth, Utah. Jerry was a hard worker, enjoying hunting and ranch work. He was also a proud member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers. Jerry was preceded in death by his parents, Lewis and Laverne Martin, son Allen Martin, siblings Murray and Ross Martin and his grandson Nathan Martin. Jerry is survived by his beautiful wife Carolee Martin, son Clint Martin, brothers Eldon (Judy), Keith (Peggy), Orrin (Natalie), and Brad (Christy) Martin, sisters Shirley (Robert) Keck, Vauna (Alan) Rasmussen, and Tami Martin, and one grandchild. A visitation in Jerry's honor was Aug. 13 at Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home. A graveside service is Aug. 14, 9 a.m., at Lake Havasu Memorial Gardens.
