Wade H. Shandley, 54, who was born in Kirkland and was a Phoenix fireman from 1947 until retiring in 1973, died May 1, 1978, in the Payson Hospital.

Mr. Shandley, of Tonto Basin, was a World War II Navy Veteran. He is survived by his wife, Madge; children, Janis Huffman, Nancy Kordylas and Jerry; three grandchildren and three sisters.

Services will be at 2 p.m. today in Green Acres Mortuary, 401 N. Hayden, Scottsdale.
