Scripture services for Joseph C. Holzer Sr., 80, of 2131 E. Union Hills Drive, who died Tuesday at John C. Lincoln Hospital, will be at 8 p.m. today in Hansen Mortuary, 8314 N. Seventh St. Mass will be at 9 am. 
Friday in St. Joseph Catholic Church, 4202 E. Shea Blvd. Burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery.

A native of Indianapolis, Ind., Mr. Holzer came to Phoenix 23 years ago. He was a retired toolmaker, and a member of the Catholic Order of Foresters.

Survivors include his wife, Gertrude; two daughters, Mrs. Evelyn Cosgrove and Mrs. Frances Shullenbarger; three sons, Joseph Jr., Robert and Everitt, all of Phoenix; four sisters out of state; 19 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
