Robert Campbell of Lake Havasu City, Arizona went to heaven to be with
Jesus on August 27, 2018 at the age of 90. Bob was born in West
Virginia. He was a proud United States Air Force Veteran. Bob served
his country in World War II.
Bob married his love Sue July 1949 in Freeport, NY. They moved from
Long Island, NY to Lake Havasu City in 1972.
As a pioneer of Lake Havasu, Bob worked as a Holly Salesman, inviting
prospective property buyers to join him on a free flight from New York
to Lake Havasu City, and then escorting them around the new city in
his white Jeep.
Bob is survived by his wife of 69 years Sue, his two daughters Donna
Mongeon and Debbie (Cary) Russell, his eight grandchildren Tim
Anderson, Susie (Brian) McDonald, Lea Mongeon, Michelle (Andrew)
Witzel, Christina (Marian) Golea, Robert Russell, Megan (Damien)
Plunkett, and Benjamin Russell, and his thirteen great-grandchildren.
Bob leaves behind a legacy of faith in God, hard work, and a fine-
tuned sense of humor.
The family wishes to extend their heartfelt thanks to Hospice of
Havasu and the expert care and support they provided during Bob's last
months.
