| Published in Today's News Herald on Aug. 21, 2018 - Lake Havasu City, Arizona - Clayton Leach, 86, of Fairmont, Minnesota, passed away Aug. 18 the Mayo Clinic Health Systems in Fairmont surrounded by his family. Clayton and his wife Nannette resided in Goldfinch Estates in Fairmont until he passed. He is survived by his wife of 68 years, Nan; daughters Jeanine (Russ) Leach Bussman of Fairmont, Jacqueline Trembley of Fairmont, Shirley Cox of Pequot Lakes, Minnesota and Sharon (Louis) Chavez of Welcome, Minnesota, sons, Duane (Janice) Leach of Fairmont, and Eugene (Jan) Leach of Welcome, daughter-in-law Linda Leach of New Brighton, Minnesota, 15 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, brother Richard Leach of Lexington, Minnesota; and half-brother Larry Morris of Pillager, Minnesota. He was preceded in death by his parents, son Glenn Leach of New Brighton, and brother Harold Leach of Becker, Minnesota. A celebration of life service for Clayton is 10:30 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 23, at Lakeview Funeral Home in Fairmont. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery in Fairmont with military honors presented by the Lee C. Prentice American Legion Post and the Martin County Veterans of Foreign Wars of Fairmont. Visitation is 5-7 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 22, at Lakeview Funeral Home and will continue one hour prior to the service at the funeral home on Thursday. Flowers may be sent to the Lakeview Funeral Home or cards can be sent to Nan at 850 Goldfinch, Apt. #309, Fairmont, MN 56031.
