Black Canyon--Services for Chester I. Hiner, 83, who died Tuesday in his home here, will be at 2 p.m. tomorrow in Black Canyon Community Church.

Burial will be in Black Canyon Cemetery. Friends may call from 5 to 9 p.m. today in Mortensen-Kings Funeral Center, 1020 W. Washington, Phoenix.

Mr. Hiner was a retired farmer who moved here 11 years ago from Coldwater, Kan. He was born in Longton, Kan.

Survivors include his wife, Ella Merl; two sons, Leroy of Phoenix and Richard of Norco, Calif.; two daughters, Mrs. Alberta Thomas of Houston and Mrs. Marion Herd of Holbrook; 10 grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren.

The family suggests contributions to the Black Canyon City Medical Center.
