FLATT, Gene (Geno)

Lake Havasu City, Arizona -

Gene (Geno) Flatt has passed away. Born on Dec. 16, 1931 to Boyd and 
Aline Flatt in Gainesboro, Tennessee, Geno was one of two children. 
Holland Flatt, Geno's brother, preceded him in death. 

Geno married his best friend and the love of his life, Shirley Rabb, 
in 1961. They were married for 50 years. They raised four children: 
Richard and Susie (daughter) Flatt; Linda (daughter) Christaens; Terry 
(son) and Cathy Flatt; Gloria (daughter) and Bobby Benson. 
Grandchildren include Sherry Schaedig, Shane Eller, Tommy Flatt, 
Christopher Flatt, Brandon Flatt, Jessica Margaret Flatt, Michael 
McClain and Carla. 

Geno spent most of his working life in Michigan in the automotive 
industry. He and Shirley loved to travel in the U.S. and abroad. Geno 
enjoyed his memberships in RV clubs, The Elks (50 year membership!), 
Billiards Club, The American Legion and the Eagles. Geno will be 
sorely missed at our local karaoke nights. 

Geno's memorial service is Saturday, Sept. 8 at the American Legion 
from 2 to 6 p.m.
