The death of Mrs. Judge Brooks has caused a gloom over the entire
community, as she was universally loved by all and her death was very
unexpected, as few except her more intimate friends knew of her
illness, which lasted only six days.
Capillary bronchitis is said to have been the disease which caused her
death.
The funeral will take place to-morrow, Friday, afternoon from the
Congregational church, interment in the Masonic cemetery, her husband
being one of the oldest members of the order in the territory.
