Death of a Prospector
Thursday, December 3, in Houstin basin, in the southwest part of Yavapai county, J. W. White, aged seventy years, died from the effects of a paralytic stroke, says the Courier. He was a miner and prospector, who came to this section in the early '70s. He was well known in Mohave county, where it is said at the time of his death he owned some very promising mining property.
