| Published in Today's News Herald on Sept. 28, 2018 - Lake Havasu City, Arizona - Anne Friis-Skotte passed away peacefully at the Polidori House of Lake Havasu City, Arizona on September 25, 2018. She was born to Philip and Adelina Garbarini in Brooklyn, New York on February 21, 1933. Anne graduated from St. John's Villa Academy and went to work for the AT&T Telephone Company. She met her husband Roy and they were married in October of 1954 in Staten Island, New York. They were blessed with 49 years together before Roy went to be with the Lord in 2004. Anne enjoyed jewelry making, ceramics and traveling. She was a faithful member of Our Lady of the Lake Roman Catholic Church. Anne is preceded in death by her husband; Roy Friis-Skotte, her parents; Philip J. and Adelina (Burgo) Garbarini, brother; Philip J. Garbarini, Jr., and sister; Doris Garbarini Beckett. She is survived by her nieces; Clair (Gil), and Nancy (Andrew), and her nephews; Philip (Virginia), Mark (Karen), and George (Kathie). A Visitation will be held at Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home on Saturday, September 29, 2018 at 10:00 am with a Funeral Service to follow at 11:00 am. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Hospice of Havasu Polidori House, 1970 Bahama Ave, Lake Havasu City, AZ 86403 or Western Arizona Humane Society, 1100 Empire Dr, Lake Havasu City, AZ 86404.
