BARBIERI-MULEE, Alice Marie


Published in Today's News Herald on Sept. 29, 2018 - Lake Havasu City, Arizona >> Oct. 18, 1918-June 1, 2018 << It is with great sadness that the family of Alice Marie Barbieri-Mulee announces her passing on June 1 in Flagstaff at age 99. Alice grew up in Chicago, Illinois. She later graduated from DePaul University in 1941, with a Bachelor of Music degree. Alice married Victor Barbieri on June 18, 1944. They had two children, Ron and Vicki. Alice taught in the Calumet Township and Gary Schools 1945–1975. They retired to Lake Havasu City. After Victor's passing, Alice married Martin Mulee in 1995. Alice continued teaching music in Lake Havasu City at Mohave Community College. She also gave private piano and voice lessons until age 90. Alice will be lovingly remembered by her daughter Vicki (Darl) Creager, grandchildren Rhonda Barbieri, Kyle (Lindsey) Creager and Kurt (Holly) Creager, and great-grandchildren Madison, Karson and Scarlett. Alice was predeceased by her sister, Harriette Blake, and husbands, Victor and Martin. Please join Alice's family for a celebration of her life Oct. 6. A Memorial Mass is that day at 10 a.m. at Our Lady of the Lake Church, 1975 Daytona Dr. There will be a blessing at the cemetery at 11 a.m. at Lake Havasu Memorial Gardens, 1698 Deer Run Dr. A Celebration of Life luncheon follows at noon at Our Lady of the Lake's church hall.
