BUTLER, John Radcliff


Arizona Republic (Phoenix, AZ) Sunday, May 20, 1956, Section 4, p. 2 Funeral services for John Radcliff Butler, 38, will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday in Memory Chapel, A. L. Moore and Sons Mortuary, 333 W. Adams. The Rev. Charles E. Tate will officiate. Burial will be in Greenwood Memorial Park. Friends may call at the mortuary all day tomorrow. Mr. Butler, a native of Mesa, died Friday in Memorial Hospital. He resided at 5502 N. 19th Ave., and was part owner of the B & W Rug and Carpet Co. He attended Roosevelt School and was graduated from Phoenix Union High School. He attended Arizona State College at Flagstaff. A veteran of World War II, he is survived by his wife, Charlotte, a daughter, Carol, his mother, Mrs. L. N. Butler Sr., a sister, Mrs. Betsy Horner, and a brother, L. N. Jr., all of Phoenix; and a sister, Mrs. Lucretia Spooner of Prescott.
