Spent early childhood in CA. After graduating HS enlisted in US Army Air Corps. Retiring after 21 yrs of service. Preceded in death by parents, brother-in-law Jim Steil & Kerry Wright, daughters Denise Marie & Karen Sue. Survived by wife of 55+ yrs Clara H; sisters Peggy Steil & Arah Wright; son Ted E Jr his wife Jean; daughter Sherry; 6 grandkids Steven Whitten, Aaron Greenwalt, Michael McCarty, Jason Chisolm, Jennifer Young & Jarrod Greenwalt; 4 great grandkids Kaitlyn, Cameron, Kolbin & Stevie III. Family would like to thank Hospice of AZ & staff of Freedom Plaza for the wonderful care they gave. Family asks that any donation be made to Hospice of AZ.
