John Robert Capozzi

John Robert Capozzi "JC" passed away at home in Topock, Arizona on
October 6, 2018. He was born in Brooklyn, New York on October 8, 1948.

John joined the United States Navy at the age of seventeen and served
his country in combat during the Vietnam War. After the Navy, John
lived in California in the early 1970's. He returned to New York for a
few years, and met his true love, Carol. They were married May 30,
1987. After marrying, they lived in Florida for twenty years, then re-
located to Arizona.

John worked as a carpenter contractor. He enjoyed fishing, bowling,
hunting, and loved to travel. His friends called him "Johnny Lures"
because of all the incredible fishing lures and flies that he made. He
was an artist and jewelry maker. He was a member of the Vietnam
Veterans of America and the Mobile Riverine Force Association.

John is preceded in death by his parents; Francis "Roger" and Frances
"Sister" Capozzi, and his twin sister Patricia. He is survived by his
loving wife, Carol Capozzi.

A Memorial Service will be held at Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home on
Saturday, October 27, 2018 at 1:00 pm.
