| Springfield Leader and Press (Springfield, Missouri) Friday, March 15, 1957, p. 13 Lawrence C. Hamor, 79, a retired carpenter who lived many years at Fair Play, died at his home in Phoenix, Tuesday after a long illness. A native of Bar Harbor, Me., he came to Missouri when young and remained here until 14 years ago when he moved west. Surviving are two sons, Arthur and Albert Hamor, both of Phoenix; a daughter, Mrs. Columbus Bolen of Lindsay, Calif.; and several grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Sunday at 2:30 p.m. in the Lindley Prairie Church near Fair Play with the Rev. Lewis Mead officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery directed by Barker-Erwin-Blue of Fair Play. See Also: Find A Grave |
