Published in Today's News Herald on Oct. 28, 2018 - Lake Havasu City, Arizona - Donald V. Hansen, of Lake Havasu City, Arizona, passed away at the age of 86 on October 24, 2018. He was born to Viggo and Juliette Hansen in Mineola, New York on February 3, 1932. Don served his country in the United States Army and is a veteran of the Korean War. He enjoyed playing golf and playing pool at the Senior Center. He especially treasured his time having coffee with his "boys" every morning. Don is preceded in death by his parents Viggo and Juliette Hansen, and his first wife; Jean Hansen. He is survived by his loving wife; Janet Jones-Hansen, step-sons; Frank and Paul (Charlotte) Hadella, step-daughter; Ann (Robert) Gallo, and 1 grandchild. A Graveside Funeral Service will be held at Lake Havasu Memorial Gardens on Tuesday, October 30, 2018 at 2:00 pm. Services were entrusted to the care of Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home.
