Debra A. “Bunnie” Hunter, 59, passed away peacefully at home with her
husband, Bill, and her sisters, Jennifer and Becky, at her side on Oct.
13, 2018. She had passed after a 5-year battle with Stage 4 MBC Cancer.

She was born on March 28, 1959, grew up in Parma, Ohio, and graduated
from Normandy High School, in Parma, Ohio. Debra started her career in
beauty salons where she met the love of her life, Bill, in 1982.

They moved and were married in Lee County, Florida, where Debra managed
a chain of beauty salons. There, Bill introduced her to service rifle
competitions, where she excelled and gained interest in sporting and
competition firearms. Upon moving to Prescott Valley in 1998, Debra
took a sales executive position with Davidson’s, Inc., and became a top
performing representative to the company with a level of customer care,
unmatched. Bill introduced her to the motorcycle community in Florida,
doing benefits for Veterans with ABATE of Florida. She continued her
service in the veteran community after moving to Prescott, as a sister
in Rough Riders M/C, and the Arizona Rough Riders Historical
Association, up until now she was and is a proud sister in the Combat
Veterans Motorcycle Association, Arizona Chapter 32-3. Bunnie, as she
is known by all, is dedicated to veteran causes, and especially, The
Vet Center, in Prescott, Arizona.

Bunnie is survived by her husband, Bill; stepchildren, Mary Jo, Kelly
Francis, William Jeffrey and Beth Allison; and she has 11 grandchildren
and two great-grandchildren.

There is way more to this most wonderful person and the love she shared
with all of us. It is summed up for all of us in a saying sent to me
this morning from a friend back in Florida: “Grief never ends... but it
changes. It’s a passage. Not a place to stay. Grief is not a sign of
weakness, Nor a lack of Faith... It is the price of LOVE.”

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, Oct. 20, 2018, 11 a.m., at
Hampton Funeral Home 240 South Cortez Street, Prescott, Arizona. She
will be laid to rest on Monday, Oct. 22, 2018. 10 a.m., at Prescott
National Cemetery, Prescott, Arizona.
