Chandler P. Aldrich, Sr.

Chandler P. Aldrich Sr., 85, of Lake Havasu City, AZ and formerly of
Littleton, NH passed away peacefully on October 4th, 2018. Chan was
born on August 27th, 1933 in Whitefield, NH and was the son of Auralie
(Straw) and Paul Aldrich. He was raised in Lyman, NH and was married
on July 2nd, 1955 to Annette (Laflanne) Aldrich. They moved to
Littleton in March of 1963. Annette predeceased him in 1990 after a
long and courageous battle with breast cancer.

Chan loved to tell stories and will always be remembered for his funny
jokes. Chan had an innate ability to meet someone and strike up a
conversation and become fast friends. Chan's mechanical abilities were
exemplary, if someone didn't know how to fix a piece of equipment, you
called Chan! Dancing was what he loved to do the most with the Polka
and the Waltz as his favorite. He could always find a dance partner.
Chan married Donna (Adams) Aldrich on September 27, 1991 and welcomed
her two daughters, Sara and Lisa, into his family. Chan and Donna
moved to Lake Havasu City, AZ in 1997 and have made many lifetime
friends. John and Lana Ledgerwood are such friends. They were a
constant and loving support for Chan and Donna and the family is
grateful for their friendship.

He is survived by his wife of 27 years, Donna Aldrich and his
children, Shari Aldrich Thompson and husband Gregory of Littleton, NH,
Chandler P. Aldrich Jr. of Hooksett, NH, Celinda LaFlam of Whitefield,
NH, Lisa Long and husband Mike of Lincoln, ME, Sara Dison and husband
Ryan of San Antonia, TX. 13 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren and
many nieces and nephews of which the family is eternally grateful for
the love and care that Chan's nieces Auralie Archiles, Rebecca Fenoff,
and Laurette Lyndes gave their uncle over the years. Chan was
predeceased by his only sibling, Della Mae Aldrich on October 22,
2012.

A celebration of life will be held at the convenience of the family in
the spring of 2019 in Lyman, NH.
