Bernadine Lee Nicewarner, 62, a member of Grace Lutheran Church who moved here 26 years ago from Des Moines, Iowa, and had been active with the Lighthouse Mission, died Oct. 14, 1979, in a Phoenix hospital.

Mrs. Nicewarner, 9826 N. Second Way, is survived by her husband, Russell W.; daughter, Carol Turner; mother Serepta Schindele; three grandchildren and two brothers.

Services will be 11am Wednesday in Grace Lutheran Church, 1124 N. Third St. Friends may call from 2 to 9pm today in Mercer Mortuary, 1541 E. Thomas.
