Samuel Alex Masters, 89, passed away at his home in Lake Havasu city,
Arizona on November 1, 2018. He was born on March 20, 1929 in
Russellville, Arkansas to Teddy and Mary Alice Masters.
Samuel attended high school in Alpaugh, California. After he
graduated, Sam joined the United States Navy where he proudly served
his country in the Korean War.
In 1952, Sam married the love of his life, Eleanor. The couple spent a
wonderful 66 years together. They had two sons, James and Randy Allen.
They also owned a retail business together.
In his free time, Sam liked boating, fishing, and going to Laughlin.
Sam is survived by his loving wife; sons; seven sisters, Reba, Pat,
Betty, Shirley, Sue, Janice, and Mary; brother Donald; grandsons,
Jason and Dan; and three great-grandchildren, Mikey, Genesis, and Dan
Jr.; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Vida Cook; and
brother, Ted Masters.

Association.
The Masters family would like to give a special thanks to the nurses
at Beacon of Hope Hospice and the rest of the staff for the great care
they continually showed.
