Charlotte Ann (Rhodes) Wininger

Charlotte Ann Wininger was born November 30, 1946 in Cass, Michigan,
to Pauline and Victor Rhodes. She graduated from Caro high School,
Caro, Michigan in 1964 after which she attended Huntington College,
Huntington, Indiana where she met Don Wininger.

She and Don were married December 30, 1967. Charlotte earned her LPN
in Detroit, Michigan in March, 1968 and then joined Don in Arlington,
Virginia where he was serving in the US Army. After earning her RN
degree from Northern Virginia Community College, she and Don returned
to Michigan where she worked at Cass City hospital.

In August, 1976 the Wininger family went to Kabala, Sierra Leone, West
Africa where they served as missionaries in the Rupp Memorial School
for Missionary Children. Due to an automobile accident in 1978, the
family returned to Michigan.

In March 1981, the Wininger's moved to Lake Havasu City where
Charlotte worked as a Labor and Delivery nurse at Lake Havasu
Community Hospital. In 1995 she left the hospital join Don as a long
haul truck driver until they retired in 2005.

Charlotte was active in Women's Ministries, Mission work and Prayer
Ministry at Hilltop Community Church, and also a valued member of WOW,
a local Women's Bible Study group.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and is survived by her
husband, Don, three brothers, three sisters, a son Daniel and a
daughter, RuthAnn of Lake Havasu City, and a son, Timothy of Prescott
Valley, Arizona, as well as 9 grandchildren and one great grandchild.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
