| Published in Today's News-Herald on Nov. 21, 2018 - Lake Havasu City, Arizona - Grace Diaz, of Lake Havasu City, Arizona passed away on November 16, 2018 at the age of 89. Grace was born January 7, 1929 to Manuel and Tomisina Pacheco in Ponce, Puerto Rico. Grace moved to New York City, NY in 1949. Shortly after, she met the love of her life Elbo 'Gene' Diaz and they wed January 7, 1950. They enjoyed traveling together, especially taking cruises. Grace and Gene enjoyed their many adventures together until he passed in 2005. Grace enjoyed boating, crafts and volunteering for her community. She also loved being part of the Women's Auxiliary in Placentia, CA. Grace was a member of Lake Havasu Yacht Club. Grace was preceded in death by her husband, Gene Diaz and her parents Manuel and Tomasina Pacheco. Grace is survived by her daughters Marty Morris and Diana Caldon, grandchildren Jason Kacura, Azure Kacura, Casey Wilson, Heather Noe and Cody Wilson, great grandchildren April Kacura, Alaina Dockens, Ethan Wilson, Dakota Afinowicz, Cooper Noe, Lexie Wilson, Hunter Noe, Lainey Noe and Oliver Wilson, and her great-great grandson Hayze Wilson.
