September 27, 1985 - Obituary - Tucson paper Virginia Sinclair, a homemaker and longtime Arizona resident, died Wednesday in her home in Marana after a long illness. She was 76. Sinclair was born in Denver and came to Arizona when she was 3. She had lived in Douglas, Tombstone, and Bisbee, as well as in Peru, before moving to Marana in 1972. She attended Colorado College in Colorado Springs, Colorado. In the 1930's and 1940's, she served as court reporter for former Cochise County Attorney Frank Thomas in Bisbee. Sinclair was a longtime parishioner or St. Christopher's Catholic Church in Marana. She is survived by her sons, George of Tucson, and Alex of Glendale; a brother Edward of Marana,; an uncle E.R. Jones of Seattle; and seven grandchildren. A memorial mass will be said at 10:30 a.m. Sunday at St. Christopher's. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at St. Patrick's Church in Bisbee. |
