| Published in Today's News-Herald on December 2, 2018 - Lake Havasu City, Arizona - Patricia Jean Plotner, 65, of Lake Havasu City, AZ passed away peacefully at home on November 26th, 2018 from a short but brave battle with cancer. She was born on December 12th, 1952 in Lawton, Oklahoma to Dale Dodson and Jeane Savage. Patricia moved to Alamogordo, NM at the age of 14, were she finished her education in 1971. Patricia became a military wife when she married David Plotner on January 13th, 1972. The couple loved traveling together, camping, waterskiing, and riding motorcycles. She worked for Otero Federal Credit Union for thirteen years and also at Holloman Air Force Base in the 746th test group squadron. She was a past member of the Elks Club and the American Legion posts 79 and 81. Pat never met a stranger, she will be dearly missed by all who knew her. She is survived by her loving husband David; sister, Glenda Harris; nephew, Steven Harris and family; several cousins; friends; neighbors; and hospice staff that showed so much love. She is preceded in death by her parents Dale and Jeane Dodson. Thoughts and condolences can be sent to Pat's family at www.mohavememorial.com.
