| Published in Today's News Herald on Dec. 7, 2018 - Lake Havasu City, Arizona - Jack E. Heck, age 84, of Lake Havasu City, Arizona, passed away on Sunday, October 28, 2018 in Yorba Linda, California. He was born on September 19, 1934, to Ralph and Dorothy McCready Heck in Hamilton, Ohio. He graduated from Ross High School, Hamilton, Ohio, and attended Miami University, Oxford, Ohio, where he met his wife Caroline. They were married for 62 years. Jack was husband to Caroline Fox Heck, father to daughter Pamela Sue Walrod (Chris) of Yorba Linda, California and father to son Daniel Edward Heck (Dianna) of Trabuco Canyon, California, and grandfather to two grandchildren Zachary Jack Walrod and Kendall Marie Heck. Jack worked at Ohio Casualty Insurance Company, Hamilton, Ohio for 31 years, when he retired July 1, 1993. He sold real estate in Hamilton, Ohio and Yorba Linda, California. Jack loved square dancing, playing bridge, traveling and boating. He was a member of Lake Havasu City Daybreakers Lions Club; member of the Lake Havasu Masonic Lodge #64; member of the Havasu Chapter #61, Order of the Eastern Star; and member of the Lake Havasu City All American Elks Lodge. Jack had an unconditional love for his family and enjoyed his precious grandchildren. He was a member of the Crystal Cathedral in Garden Grove, California for many years and later Shepherd's Grove Church in Garden Grove, California.
