| Published in the Daily Miner on December 5, 2018 - Kingman, Arizona - Richard was born April 16, 1944 in Oakland, California. He was a graduate of Capuchino High School, San Bruno, California, and a graduate of Sonoma State University where he earned his Masters of Art. Richard was an artist, published author, and worked for over a decade in the behavioral health field for which he served those who were in need. Richard was also enlisted with the United States Marine Corps during the Vietnam War in 1965. Richard loved hiking the Hualapai Mountains, exploring the Arizona countryside on frequent road trips, as well as fulfilling a spiritual journey within. He was most known by his family and friends for his kind and compassionate spirit, his non-judgmental attitude toward all, as well as his devotion and love for his family. He was a cool cat! Richard Waldron is survived by a wife; Tina Waldron, eight children; Richard Waldron, Sheri Waldron, Levi Savage Waldron, Marc Norris, John Price, Christopher Price (in loving memory), David Price and Dakota Gill Waldron (in loving memory). Richard also leaves behind brothers and sister; Laurie Waldron-Retzer, Gaylord Steeley, Pat Larken, and Russ Steeley, 10 grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends as well as ex-wives; Marylyn Ann Waldron (in loving memory), Kathy Reese and Natalie Chamberlain Baxter. A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Dec, 8, 2018 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 3180 Rutherford St., Kingman, Arizona 86401. Immediate family will be escorted by the Arizona Patriot Guard Riders and others from the family home to where the memorial service will be held. Arizona Patriot Guard Riders will also assemble a flag line on church grounds. In lieu of flowers, the family would like to request donations be made to the following organizations: Arizona Patriot Guard Riders (azpgr.org), or Praise Chapel (Jacob’s Ladder in memo line), 419 Harrison St., Kingman, Arizona 86401. |
