May Ackerman died suddenly in Prescott, August 1, 1896. A coroner's
jury decided that her death was due to natural causes.

She was the party whose loss of certain diamonds agitated police and
court circles a short time ago.

The late Mary Ackerman, whose remains were followed to the Citizens'
cemetery yesterday by one barouche, was worth between $ 50,000 and $
60.000 a few years ago.

Local Notes

Mary Ackerman, a woman who was worth $ 60,000 a few years ago in
Tucson, died a couple of days ago in Prescott in poverty and without
friends.

at the Citizens Cemetery in Prescott, Arizona.
