Edward H. Walker, 63, a heavy equipment mechanic and member of Operating Engineers Union Local 428 for 25 years, died Tuesday in a Phoenix hospital.

Mr. Walker, 9210 N. Seventh St., was a member of Moose Lodge 2148 and the 20th Ward of Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

Survivors include children, Jeanettie Mills, Grace C. Falkoske and Marion E. McLane; 2 brothers; 5 sisters; 11 grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.

A Moose ritual will be at 7 p.m. today in Sunnyside Mortuary, 614 E. Townley. Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday in the mortuary.
