| Published in the Daily Miner on Dec. 16, 2018 - Kingman, Arizona - Leonard Ray Seaborn, 75, of Kingman, died in his home of 54 years on Saturday, Dec. 8, 2018. He was born Nov. 14, 1943 in Flagstaff, Arizona to Gloria and Leonard Seaborn Sr. He is survived by the love of his life, Karen Garman, who he married on Sept. 26, 1964. Also surviving are his two daughters; Christiana (Dominic) Boone and Misty (Ron) Bowman of Kingman, two granddaughters; Nicole and Megan Boone, and one grandson; Barrett Bowman. Also surviving is his sister; Leona Mensay of Mesa, Arizona. Leonard moved to Kingman as a young man and attended Kingman High School where he was an exceptional athlete. He loved the outdoors and enjoyed hunting and fishing with friends and family. He was a great dad who knew how to have fun with his daughters. He was a patient teacher who taught them how to play sports, play cards, shoot a gun, fish, and drive “old blue,” his ‘68 GMC pickup. He was known as Grampy to his three grandchildren, who were the center of his life. He didn’t miss an opportunity to watch Barrett play sports or Nicole and Megan dance, regardless of where it was. He was proud of them and made sure they knew it. The family would like to thank all those who have expressed their love and condolences. He will be missed dearly but will live on in our hearts forever. |
