SCHEIDT, Carrie Ann

Published in Today's News-Herald on Dec. 18, 2018 - Lake Havasu City, Arizona - Carrie Ann Scheidt, of Lake Havasu City, passed away on Dec. 12, 2018. She was born to Edward and Greta Pieske on Oct. 27, 1959 in Gary, Indiana. Carrie graduated from Merrillville High School and earned her master's degree in education from Purdue University. She moved to Lake Havasu City in 1983. She was a dedicated teacher for more than 28 years. She taught physical education at numerous schools throughout Havasu and touched the lives of many children. She was also very involved in Girl Scouts for many years. She enjoyed camping and taekwondo. She participated in the Jump for the Heart fundraiser as well as Red Cross. Carrie is preceded in death by her parents; Edward and Greta Pieske. She is survived by her husband; Jeff Scheidt, son; Robert Scheidt, daughter; Jennifer Scheidt, and two grandchildren.
