THREET, Ruth

Ruth Anderson Threet passed away on December 11, 2004, surrounded by her family. She is survived by her husband Conway; children: Don, Marie (Rick) Reed, Sherri (Guy) Christensen and Sterling (Melanie) Threet; Sisters: Tressa McKinnon, Janet Ray Nona Nichols, Ethlyn Ray, Donnalee Beazer and Brother Lyneer Andersen; 24 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. Ruth was preceded in death by her parents, Hans & Mynoa Andersen, brothers Verlen & Darl, sister Zelda Merritt and daughter-in-law Kimberly Threet. Her life was continutally spent in service to her family, church and community. She served in many callings in the LDS church including a full time mission in Mexico City and 5 full-time missions with her husband Conway. Most recently she served in the Mesa Arizona Temple. She lived a full and active life. A true pioneer; she will be missed by all who knew her. A Viewing was held on Tuesday December 14, at Bunkers Garden Chapel 33 N. Centennial. Funeral services were held Wednesday December 15 at the LDS Chapel 2152 E. Adobe, Mesa AZ. Published 12/15/2004 in the East Valley Tribune.
