| Published in Today's News Herald on Dec. 25, 2018 - Lake Havasu City, Arizona - Stephen (Steve) Noel Stewart, born December 25, 1956 (San Diego, CA) passed peacefully on Saturday, December 15, 2018 in the comfort of his home (Buckeye, AZ). Steve was a fighter. He was diagnosed with Colon Cancer in February 2017 and thankfully was fortunate to become a patient of the caring staff at CTCA of Goodyear by April 2017. He truly fought the pain and endured lots of tests and treatments for the sake of his family. Steve led a very full life of riding motorcycles, boating and off road desert fun. He was a hardworking, loving family man. He was everyone's best friend and worked every job as though he owned the place. He lived in San Diego most of his life, with his wife of 43 years, Debbie, and his three children, Brad (& Kim), Matt and Christina (& Gary). In 1998, he moved to Lake Havasu City, AZ for the next round of adventures. He gained four beautiful grandchildren, Cole, Alyssa, Kali and Landen. He loved to hear updates on what they were up to. He got to watch his first grandson, Cole graduate high school in 2016 and often talked about hanging in there to see the next three walk that stage. He was one of the best friends of many - and truly valued friendship. Our family is grateful for the thoughts and prayers shared over the last few years.
