Mary Frances Hunt of Lake Montezuma, AZ passed away peacefully in her sleep at her home, June 19, 2003. Born Mary Frances Lackey on January 8, 1919 to Bernice and Edna Lackey in Pueblo, Colorado. 

Raised in the greater Los Angeles, California area, she married Thomas Arthur Hunt (deceased) January 15, 1948. 

Mary is survived by three children, Elizabeth Holtschneider of Taneytown, Maryland, John B. Hunt of Jacksonville, Florida and Thomas A. Hunt of Willcox, Az; six grandchildren and three great grandchildren. 

Mary Hunt retired from the Town of Buckeye where she served for many years. She was an accomplished seamstress, quilter and an intense reader. A lover of art, music and education. Donations in her memory may be made to the Beaver Creek School, Rimrock, AZ 85335. Arrangements by Westcott Funeral Home.   Published in the Arizona Republic on 6/25/2003.
