| Published in Today's News-Herald on Dec. 27, 2018 - Lake Havasu City, Arizona - The world will miss a very special, loving person. Denise L. Young left this earth on Dec. 17, 2018. She was born in New York on Jan. 1, 1955, but lived in many different states traveling with her parents while her father served in the Air Force. After military retirement her family resided in Newburgh, NY. She was a 1973 graduate of Newburgh Free Academy and held numerous jobs until she met and married her former husband, Fred Mascitelli. Together they bought and operated Orange Auto Electric, in Newburgh, New York, for many years. Denise moved to Lake Havasu City, Arizona, to be with her mother and brother. She loved the lake and the desert. She was an animal lover and always had a pet dog. She loved crafts and pottery. She was preceded in death by her father Paul, who passed away in 1995. She is survived by her mother Ruth, brother Paul of Lake Havasu, sister Karen (Jon), niece Rose, nephew Jackson, of WA state, many other friends and relatives. Cremation will take place in LHC by Lietz-Fraze. There will be no memorial or service. Services were entrusted to the care of Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home.
