| Published in Today's News-Herald on Dec. 27, 2018 - Lake Havasu City, Arizona - Joseph Charles Barbosa passed away on Dec. 20, 2018 peacefully with his family by his side. He is survived by his 3 children, Dana, Joseph Jr., Kenny, his partner in life Cory McIntire and many grandchildren. He spent his final days surrounded by family and friends. Joseph was born on June 27, 1952 in Monrovia, CA. He spent most of his life in El Monte, CA. He was in the field of Construction for over 25 years and retired as a dispatcher. Joseph was a loving partner in life, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, father-in-law and friend to everyone. Joseph moved to Lake Havasu 9 years ago from California and has never looked back. He loved riding his Harley with the Hangover Gang, spending time on the Lake in his boat, and spending time with his grandkids and his doggies. He made friends wherever he went. He was always willing to help family and friends out with whatever they needed. He did say throughout his final days that he had a great ride and was very blessed with the life he was given. The family would like to extend their sincerest gratitude to Hospice of Havasu for the special loving care they gave him through his final days. A Memorial Service will be held at Calvary Baptist Church, McCulloch Campus, on Friday, January 4, 2018 at 12:00 pm. Services were entrusted to the care of Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home.
